This is a great little reference book to use for inspiration and expansion of your writing skills. Go through it in order, or jump around to what lessons catch your eye or pique your interest. I actually bought two of these books and went through the exercises with a friend. It was a fun little way to think outside of my box and created growth and a bit of a bonding experience with a friend. I'd recommend this book to new writers all the way to seasoned professionals. Great buy!
One of the most useful poetry exercise books ever. I've returned to it multiple times for inspiration, and used some exercises multiple times to kick-start poems. As with all books of this nature, which exercises you do and don't find useful is a matter of your personality and writing style, but there's something for nearly everyone here.
I haven’t read through all of this book, but I love it already. Flipping through it immediately inspires me to write. Great variety of exercises with some interesting anecdotes and bits of poetry as well.
